Mission Statement

Radoslaw Szymanik is one of the most decorated coaches of Polish man tennis in history. Since very young Radoslaw’s life revolved around sports, at the beginning splitting between figure skating, table tennis and tennis, eventually focusing on tennis alone. Throughout his tennis career Mr. Szymanik won several team Poland’s Championships and took high position at European Championships as well.

He’s coaching career began in 1997 at hometown club “Lechia” Gdansk and involved coaching juniors. In 2003 his team Panfil/Koniusz won the Junior Australian Open and Marcin Gawron reached junior finals at Wimbledon. Between 2009 and 2012 Mr. Szymanik coached Polish Double’s Fyrstenberg/Matkowski, runner ups of 2011 US Open and Barclays ATP World Tour finals as well as winners of ATP 1000 Madrid 2012, ATP 500 Barcelona 2012 and ATP 250 Eastbourne 2010. since 2007 Radoslaw is a coach of Polish representation of Davis Cup, and since 2013 he is a part-time coach to Mariusz Fyrstenberg, Marcin Matkowski, Jerzy Janowicz and Grzegorz Panfil.

In 2016 Radoslaw went, as a Coach of Polish men’s tennis team (Janowicz, Matkowski, Kubot), to Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Szymanik Tennis Foundation’s goal is to promote next generation of Polish tennis players. Mission of the Foundation is to support and promote young tennis players with Polish roots.
